Our Founder – Shaneatra Jones

Shaneatra Jones is a mom, published writer, conversation enthusiast, and an educated woman, amongst many other roles. Over the years, she’s worn many hats, each one shaping her into the woman she is today. But the most rewarding and fulfilling title she holds is “Mom.” It’s the role that has taught her the most about balance, strength, and resilience.

Shaneatra Jones developed Shaneatra Jones Speaks: The Inner Thoughts of a Modern Woman because, for years, she found herself sifting through endless websites and news outlets just to get the full story. Time and time again, the facts weren’t told in one place, and essential details were missing. That frustration sparked the desire to create a platform that would bring together the full, unfiltered truth—a place where stories matter and are shared based on facts.

“I created this platform to tell the stories that matter, amplify unheard voices, and cover topics people need to hear. My goal has always been to make this space accessible, trustworthy, and free—one that truly earns your confidence. I do my research because I believe in bringing real, raw, and authentic stories to the forefront. This platform was built to share the knowledge I’ve gathered and pour into others from the overflow of my cup.”

With nearly 20 years of experience in the federal government and a Master’s in Business Management, she’s committed to providing insightful, well-researched content that helps empower and inspire women.
